Standing Ovation has
their own nationally award winning competition
teams. The dancers are serious
students who take several classes a week and are chosen by the staff. They
compete year round, throughout NJ and NY. Our students
are required to take 1 ballet class, tap, jazz, lyrical, stretch and a technique
class in addition to their team time. Each team is required to do a certain
amount of competitions and conventions Any student may take private
lessons and compete solos and duets. If you are interested in joining a
team or performing solos/duets please call or send written notification to
the studio before May 2008. Auditions for team will be held in May
2008. Anyone interested in being on a team must audition.
Competing at our studio is completely optional and it is not forced upon
anyone.
Standing Ovations Competitive Edge was chosen as one of the "50 Studios On
The Move" for the entire country by Dance Spirit Magazine. Congrats
girls!
