Standing Ovation has
their own nationally award winning competition
teams. The dancers are serious
students who take several classes a week and are chosen by the staff. They
compete year round, throughout NJ and NY. Our students
are required to take certain
classes in addition to their team time. Each team is required to do a certain
amount of competitions and conventions Any student may take private
lessons and compete solos and duets.
If anyone is interested in being a part
of the Competition Team please let us know and we will give you more
information. Auditions are in June, we are looking for dancers ages 5 and
up!
Standing Ovations Competitive Edge was chosen as one of the "50 Studios On
The Move" for the entire country by Dance Spirit Magazine. Congrats Dancers!
A wonderful job done by all of our
dancers who attended Tremaine Dance Convention in Washington, D.C.
You all worked it in classes and were
awesome in scholarship auditions. We would like to congratulate
Jennifer Hine & Jessica Hine for winning a one time scholarship and
Daechelle Conners for winning a scholarship to take classes at the EDGE in
Los Angeles. We are very proud of you all!
Our dancers were amazing on stage for
competition. Coming home with lots of first and second places and
smiles on our faces we are very proud of you all. Everyone has
improved so much already this season, we can't wait to see you on the big
stage again in Brooklyn, NY!
